How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? The time between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years goes FAST.
As time waits for no man, it’s imperative to keep in touch with folks you’ve met throughout your life and career. One of those folks for me is Aubrey Flynn.
Aubrey and I worked together 10+ years ago when I was at Buddy Media and he was leading digital marketing for Blue Flame, an agency Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs founded to manage his many brands — specifically Ciroc Vodka. Aubrey has always had his finger on the pulse of digital strategy and innovation. Under his tutelage Ciroc sold 1MM cases!
Fast forward to now. We sat down and talked about the company Aubrey founded — GOALS Ventures — which owns GOALS Media Group and GOALS Supply, the former helps small business entrepreneurs — from mostly underserved or underrepresented communities —to use technology to drive awareness and sales for their businesses. Aubrey and his firm are really lowering the barrier to entry for these business leaders who wouldn’t have the wherewithal.
Right now there are 500 businesses on the GOALS Media platform. GOALS Media Group created a digital toolkit for these small business owners to use for website development, search engine optimization, eCommerce, social media strategy and execution, and managing their ratings and reviews. Think of it as a more intuitive Salesforce for SMBs.

I’ve always appreciated Aubrey’s heart as much as his mind. Giving back, mentoring, and inspiring this generation’s entrepreneurs along with future ones has always been a passion point for Aubrey — something that was fueled while working for Mr. Combs.
Aubrey doesn’t rest on his strategic bona fides as he leads GOALS Ventures. He makes a point to practice what he preaches: 1) GOALS Supply, an owned and operated brand, is a DTC brand that showcases how technology and commerce come together to drive revenue and impact (something he articulates to his client base) and 2) he regularly shares actionable tips to his followers and clients via his social media profiles.
Aubrey’s big goal for GOALS Ventures by 2025? Onboarding 30,000 entrepreneurs onto the GOALS ecosystem. If I’m a betting man, he’s the guy who’s going to hit this goal and do it with gusto!
